REXA Electraulic™ Actuators are widely used throughout the pipeline industry. Actuation needs within the pipeline industry are diverse, due to the wide range of product properties, flow rates, pipeline sizes and pipeline lengths encountered. Both linear and rotary actuators, from the smallest to the largest, are applicable. REXA Actuators have been used to improve control performance on a number of different pipeline applications, including crude oil, refined products, other liquids, and gas products. Flexibility in pipeline operation requires frequent changes in flow rates and delivery sites. Responsive line pressure control is essential to prevent line shutdowns due to pressure excursions. High resolution and fast response are necessary for successful applications. A few pipeline applications where REXA Electraulic™ Technology can be found are Pump Station Pressure Control, Terminal Inlet Pressure Control, Metering Balance Control, Meter Back Pressure Control and Pump Recycle Control. With REXA's closed loop system, pipeline processes can be controlled directly. Electraulic™ Technology is a unique and revolutionary approach to actuation that combines the simplicity of electric operation, the power of hydraulics, the reliability of solid state electronics, and the flexibility of user configured control.
