Liquids lines girding for integrity management rule

Future focus for the liquid pipe line industry will clearly be on development of and compliance with the RSPA's Pipeline Integrity Program for High Consequence areas. When the rule—Docket No. RSPA 99-6355—becomes final, operators will have nine months to evaluate their pipe line systems and identify all high-consequence areas (HCA). The final program must be in place within one year of when the rule becomes final.
