摘要

Effect of the way of pounding of a scrap of Zr-Al oxides refractory on the phase-mineralogical composition of final products obtained by the mechanical crushing or electropulse decomposition techniques has been studied. It is shown that under electropulse decomposition, the resulting powder has a more favourable mineralogical composition and increased percentage of metastable tetragonal and cubic ZrO_2 phases in comparison with that after mechanical crashing. During electropulse pounding, the α-Al_2O_3 matrix grains destruction occurs while an intergranular destruction throughout the glass phase takes place during mechanical crushing.
