摘要

In a recent paper in this Journal (Nield and Kuznetsov 2006) analytical solution is obtained for forced convection flow in channels occupied by a hyper-porous medium saturated with a rarefied gas in the slip-flow regime, for the case of uniform flux boundary conditions. The convective heat transfer in channels occupied by porous media saturated with rarefied gases (or in micro-channels filled with porous media) is a new and a vitally important subject. This motivated us to write the present letter which focuses on many important issues that have emerged after reading of Nield and Kuznetsov, the above referenced work.
