We made a typographical error in the description of the neuron model used. In the first line of Eq. (4) the equation for α_n should have read α_n = 0.032(-50 - V)/{exp[(-50 - V)/5] - 1}. Furthermore, we erroneously reported parameter values of a modified version [1] of the original neuron model in Ref. [2]. This modified model describes a much slower molluscan neuron rather than the original mammalian neuron model used in the Letter. The parameters values actually used in the Letter were C = 0.143 nF, g_(leak) = 0.02672 μS, E_(leak) = -63.563 mV, g_(Na) = 7.15 μS, E_(Na) = 50 mV, g_K = 1.43 μS, E_K = -95 mV. Finally, the value of the reversal potential for the inhibitory synapses was omitted from the description by mistake. It was set as V_(rev) = -80 mV. We would like to thank Jianwei Shuai for pointing out to us that the parameter values presented in our original publication were not consistent.
