Professor Giulio Jori and Professor Herwig Kostron (Fig. 1) have cause to be proud of attracting almost 300 PDT enthusiasts from the four corners of the globe to Brixen for what has become one of the regular events in the PDT calendar.rnWhat attracts so many people one may ask? The answer is, above all, a good programme together with the relaxed yet serious atmosphere in which the meeting is run. This is added to by delegate-friendly organisation, an enjoyable venue, Italian/Tyrolian hospitality and, not least, the weather.rnThe programme was varied, expanding over many topics related to PD and PDT.
