Managing water distribution network using auto water computer software

Water has multitude of uses. For man potable water for drinking is essential to his life. In the early times, families have to travel a distance to obtain the water needed for domestic or livestock use. The water is taken either from a nearby surface water (stream) or groundwater (spring) supply. At that times water was inexpensive because the demand was limited and the supply was abundant. However, the supply has remained constant or even reduced by growing quality constraints, while the demand for potable water has been increasing. Because of growing urban population and technological advancement, the delivery and use of water has expanded rapidly. Urban communities are provided with safe drinking water thru a water distribution network. The water distribution network consists of surface or groundwater sources of combination of both sources, pump stations, reservoirs and network of pipes. The distribution of urban water is done via network of pipes capable of delivery to the customer the required quantity of water under a satisfactory pressure. The distribution network system is normally designed to minimize the annual cost of the reservoirs, pipe network and pumping required to maintain selected delivery standards.
