Samsung plans dual-mode WiMAX

Samsung Electronics says it will launch a dual-mode cellular/mobile WiMAX phone during the first half of 2007. If Samsung keeps to this timetable, the handsets are likely to be the first such devices to come to market. Other than saying it will have cellular functionality, the vendor is revealing little about what features the phone will possess. But it will almost certainly be a WiBro phone.
