Over 160 people gathered at the Hinxtonrncampus (bathed in glorious Octoberrnsunshine) for the fifth Cold SpringrnHarbor Laboratory/Wellcome Trustrnconference on pharmacogenomicsrn(PGx). The meetings alternate eachrnyear between Hinxton and the ColdrnSpring Harbor Laboratory: this is thernbiggest attendance for the UK-basedrnmeetings, and shows both the strongrnreputation of these meetings and therngrowing interest in the topic. Whilernthere was inevitably a high turnoutrnfrom UK-based researchers and clinicians,rnthere was strong representationrnfrom abroad, particularly Europe andrnNorth America.
