Trinity Industries Inc. contended on July 1 that there is no basis to strike its deposition corrections in an errata sheet because the issue at this point is defendant Greenlease Holding Co.'s fault, not its liability, with respect to CERCLA and Pennsylvania Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act claims stemming from contamination at the North Plant in Greenville. The case is in federal court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. (See issue of June 15,2011 P. 13.) Greenlease sold the property to Trinity Industries by way of a purchase agreement on Dec. 9,1986. Greenlease's predecessor, Greenville Steel Car Co., installed or used products and chemicals that allegedly included hazardous substances.
