Groups seek to bar drilling of gas wells until DRBC promulgates final rules governing shale drilling in Basin

Delaware Riverkeeper Network, Delaware Riverkeeper and Damascus Citizens for Sustainability Inc. contended on Feb. 27 the Delaware River Basin Commission's (DRBC) decision to exempt certain exploratory gas wells in the Marcellus Shale formation from pre-construction review is a final action allowing appeal in federal court for the District of New Jersey.
