Redevelopment agency defends claim that former site owners failed to comply fully with cleanup obligations

Harrison Redevelopment Agency and Heller Urban Redevelopment LLC contended on March 18 that they have properly pled a case or controversy alleging Hartz Mountain and Sternco Dominion Real Estate Corp. failed to fully meet their New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act obligations with respect to remediation of property in Harrison Township. The case is in federal court for the District of New Jersey.
