NL Industries Inc. and NL EnvironmentalManagement Services Inc. argued on Aug. 4 that U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert of the District of New Jersey did not abuse his discretionby accepting NL Industries' assertion that Raritan Baykeeper and Edison Wetlands Association already have all relevant documents related to their un-stayed claims over contamination of the Raritan River in New Jersey.
