摘要

Queens West Development Corp and other plaintiffs settled on Jan. 13 with Honeywell International Inc. their CERCLA §107 claim that contamination from heavy industrial activities on a site in Long Island City, New York, dating back to the Civil War was allegedly caused by Honeywell's predecessor, Warren Chemical and Manufacturing Company. U.S. Judge Joel Pisano of the District of New Jersey approved the settlement with each side bearing costs and fees.
