Soil Safe says 'discovery confidentiality order' is needed to avoid publicity from site inspection

Soil Safe Inc. asked the federal court on April 20 for a "discovery confidentiality order" prohibiting the disclosure of confidential information obtained during inspection by Delaware Riverkeeper Network Inc. and Delaware Riverkeeper of Soil Safe's Class B recycling center on U.S. Route 130 South in Logan Township. The case is in federal court for the District of New Jersey. "Soil Safe simply wants to ensure that access to the Soil Safe facility, as well as any information gained through that access, is used strictly for litigation purposes and that plaintiffs are precluded from turning the inspection into a press event, or from disclosing the pictures, videos and other information obtained from the inspection as part of plaintiffs' public relations or fundraising campaigns, or for other agendas besides litigation of the present action," Soil Safe says.
