First, I want to thank the PCI membership for the honor of serving as your Chairman for 2005. I look forward to the opportunity of working with the 2005 PCI Board and staff, and fully representing the PCI membership. We have committed to improving communications, both external and internal, so that we can better understand your wishes and needs. I first entered the precast/prestressed concrete industry more than 40 years ago by teaming up with my old friend Norm Scott and coming to work for PCI. At that time, PCI was a three-person fledgling organization, and little did I know where my future would lead.
