7 CLOUD-ENABLED BUSINESS TRENDS THAT ARE GAINING MOMENTUM

The year 2015 has been significant for cloud computing as it further gained mainstream acceptance. All IT executives I met including CIOs, CTOs and VPs of technology are aware of the benefits of Cloud such as scalability, agility and flexibility to adapt to changing business models. However, its full value is still not being harnessed as most workloads have still not been migrated to the cloud. Here are a few models that led to more workloads being migrated to the cloud throughout 2015 and I expect this to be further accelerated in 2016. Migration of infrastructure and application to the cloud is transforming enterprise IT. Through service-level automation many core IT services and processes are being delivered as-a-service. Working with customers worldwide, I found that delivering IT-as-a-Service helped enterprises achieve faster deployment of solutions and becoming more responsive to market needs.
