Windows ANI Vulnerability Exploited

Perhaps the most serious vulnera- bility in Microsoft Windows in years was revealed recently by McAfee's Avert Labs. A flaw in the handling of ANI files, which store animated cursors, could allow an attacker to take complete control of the system. The flaw affects essentially all current versions of Windows, Vista included.
