This book is a collection of contributions presented at the 10th International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society Conference, held during June 9-12th, 2004 at Universita Luigi Bocconi, Milan. Some of the papers have been published in the Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Volume 16, 1-2, 2006. The evolutionary economics research programme is indeed the dominant common denominator for many of the papers.
