Indonesia's pulp and paper industry has rapidly expanded since the late 1980s to become one of the world's top 15 producers. The country's quest for stability has suffered yet another setback with the recent bombing outside the Australian Embassy in the country's capital. In view of the upcoming presidential elections, the industry is hoping for a new stable government to boost efforts of attracting the much needed investment in the pulp and paper industry.
