Andritz chosen as main supplier for new fiberline at CMPC Santa Fe

Graz, austria — International technology group Andritz announced recently that it had been selected to supply a complete Fiberline - from the digester to finished bales of market pulp as well as chemical recovery systems - for the new Santa Fe Line 2 Pulp Project in Chile. CMPC Celulosa S.A., a subsidiary of Empresas CMPC S.A., selected Andritz to complete the project on an EPC basis. When completed in 2006, the line will produce 780,000 t/a of Bleached Eucalyptus market pulp (BEK). Total value of the order approaches US$400 million.
