Metso to Supply Recausticizing Plant to Metsae-Botnia's Kemi Mill

Metso has received an order to supply a recausticizing plant for Metsa-Botnia's Kemi mill in the city of Kemi in Finland. The new plant will replace an existing recausticizing line and is scheduled to start up during autumn 2011. The value of the order will not be disclosed.rnMetso's scope of supply covers a complete recausticizing plant comprising a clarifier, a decanter centrifuge, a green liquor cooler, a slaker, causticiz-ers, a PDW filter (pressure disc filter for white liquor) and storage tanks. The new recausticizing plant is designed for 7,000 m~3 of white liquor per day. The delivery also includes basic and detail engineering for piping, erection and start-up.
