China is currently establishing itself as a world leader in the pulp and paper industry. Recording a significant development in the pulp and paper production, all eyes are turning their attention to China. The most modernised paper machine and the most advanced technology are directing foreign investors into looking east towards China. But with opportunities come challenges. Closure of paper mills in foreign countries due to increasing high cost of production brings opportunities for China's pa per export. With further consolidation and backing of the government, the speed of development of China's paper industry accelerates even faster.
