Toscotec Supplies Japan's First Steel Yankee Dryer to Tissue Manufacturer Nishinihon Eizai

Toscotec has extended its reach in Asia thanks to new agency agreements in Japan and South Korea. The first fruit of this cooperation is the order for Japan's first Steel Yankee Dryer. The Toscotec patented TT SYD 12 FT will be fitted as part of a rebuild on PM 2 at Nishinihon Eizai, a leading producer of tissue based on recycled fibre. The installation is intended to allow an increase in production speed, as well as considerable energy savings - a key issue in Japan. Nishinihon Eizai was founded in 1963, and is managed by Yasuhito Goda, who is the third generation of the family to manage the business. The mill is in Tatsuno, near Osaka. It houses six paper machines and produces 2,500 tonnes per month of toilet roll and tissue towel made from 100% waste paper.
