NewPage Corp. CEO Named 2013 Paper Industry Executive of the Year

The President and CEO of Wisconsin Rapids' largest employer has been named executive of the year by an international pulp and paper industry association, the organisation announced recently. George Martin of Miamisburg, Ohio-based papermaker NewPage Corp. has been named winner of the 2013 Paper Industry Management Association Executive of the Year Award, according to a news release from TAPPI, formerly the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry and PIMA's new parent organisation. The award is PIMA's highest honour and recognises senior-level executives in the pulp, paper or converting industries for excellence in management and outstanding contributions to the industry as a whole.
