Huda Elected New Chairman of APKI, HM Mansur Made Honourary Member

Misbahul Huda, the Director of Adiprimasuraprinta, was appointed Chairman of the Indonesian Pulp and Paper Association (APKI), replacing HM Mansur who had helm the association for 18 years at APKI Congress held recently. Huda was unanimously elected by approximately 40 companies that participated in the Congress. He will lead APKI until 2016. The Congress also agreed to changes in the organisational structure as well as lifting HM Mansur as an honourary member of APKI. "This appointment is a mandate for me. The most important objectives for me are to strengthen the organisation and to provide services to its members to the fullest," said Huda in a press statement. He also aims at making the pulp and paper industry in Indonesia more environmental-friendly.
