Mondi's Peter Oswald Named RISI's 2013 European CEO of theYear

RISI has named Peter J. Oswald, Chief Executive Officer of Mondi Europe & International, as the 2013 European CEO of the Year. The. award will be presented to Oswald during RISI's European Pulp & Paper Conference. The conference will be in Vienna, Austria, April 22-24, 2013. In addition to collecting his award at the RISI European Conference, Oswald will join the CEO panel and present the keynote speech. Oswald was nominated by a group of investment analysts and portfolio managers covering the European pulp and paper industry. The criteria for nomination included leadership, vision and strategic accomplishment. Oswald was selected as the winner due to his significant achievements and overall leadershipof Mondi Europe& International. Regarding Oswald's leadership, one nominator commented "The European operation has been consistently well led and has included some significant and bold diversification which it has been getting just right."
