A biostratigraphic column for the Lower Devonian of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge (Germany) is supplemented to the Devonian Correlation Table. The stratigraphic ranges and phylogenetic relationships of the Rhenish taxa included in the delthyridoid genusArduspirifer Mittmeyer 1972 (Spiriferida, Brachiopoda) are presented.
