A grassroots vibe is growing quietly in intensity. Consumers not only are concerned about the foods they're eating and the beverages they're drinking, but they're also worried about the packaging for these products. This trend should provide a wake-up call for consumer product companies that believe consumers are only scrutinizing product ingredients. Consumers also are examining the package components, and if they have any suspicions about package safety, they're not going to buy the product.
