This year, packaging review's sister publication, pharmaceutical & cosmetic review, together with inaugural sponsor, International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), launched the first New Product Competition for the cosmetics, toiletries and home care industries. Products that were manufactured and marketed in SA over the past year were accepted as entries - in other words, those launched between October 2006 and September 2007. Each product had to fit into one of the following categories and sub categories:rn1. Fine Fragrance: Perfume, Eau de Toilettern2. Beauty: Skin Care, Colour Cosmeticsrn3. Personal Care: Bath & Body Care, Hair Care, Deos & Antiperspirantsrn4. Home Care: Surface Care, Fabric Care, Air Care.
