Beautifully-crafted caps that are also scratch resistant

One way to differentiate a cosmetic product is through innovative materials, and this is what Cape-based, injection-moulding company, Evotec, has achieved with its coloured Surlyn caps. The coloured caps, a first in SA, carry a number of advantages. They achieve a clear, glass-like quality in a single injection-moulding operation, and as the material is introduced to the moulding tool through the smallest of gates, its location is almost impossible to spot. Surlyn caps are used extensively in the cosmetics industry and while beautiful to look at, they are also tough, scratch resistant and impervious to chemicals, making syrlyn a preferred packaging material.
