Indian film producer Uflex is targeting the European market by building a S90m Bopet facility in Poland that is due to start commercial production in mid-2012. Uflex already has operations in Dubai, Mexico and Egypt, as well as its native India, and is now looking to establish production near the city of Poznan. The new plant will enable European users of biaxially-ori-ented polyester (Bopet) to source material more locallv.
