Stylish premixed cocktail packaging aims to shake up sales

Tails is a line of pre-mixed alcoholic drinks that enables consumers to whip up high-end cocktails without having to visit a local watering hole. The pack-designed by Smallfry Design to mirror the look and function of a classic cocktail shaker-lets thirsty users add ice, shake and serve tasty beverages at their home bars.To create the functional container, RPC Market Rasen developed a four-part injection-molded lid that allows the end user to dispense the finished drink much as it would be by a pro barkeep. The lid is assembled and printed with a 4-color design at the packaging firm's facility. Sister firm RPC Blackburn makes the injection stretch blow-molded (ISBM) PET base, decorated with a shrink sleeve. The base is induction-sealed after filling for tamper protection and extended shelf life.
