Energy-income causality and the carbon- reducing policy in Taiwan

This paper investigates the causal relationship between en- ergy consumption and economic growth and its implications for the carbon-reducing policy in Taiwan. It reconsiders the causal relationship between economic growth and the aggre- gate and several disaggregate categories of energy consump- tion, including solid, liquid, gaseous, and other (hydro, nuclear and electricity fuels.
