DOL Initiatives to Assist Workers With Disabilities

The Department of Labor's (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) is taking steps to better serve the 54 million people across the nation living with disabilities. In announcing stepped-up efforts aimed especially at disabled workers, Labor Secretary Hilda L. Solis said, "No artificial barriers should prevent individuals from reaching their potential in the workplace and contributing their skills to our nation."
