All Hands on Deck For Safety at Air Force Construction Site

OSHA is joining with public and private partners to ensure that a massive construction project at Scott Air Force Base in Peoria is conducted as safely as possible. An agreement was announced last month that also involves the Illinois state consultation program and River City Construction LLC, the lead contractor on the job. The $93.6 million project is for construction of an 180,000-square-foot building. It will house the U.S. Transportation Command, the U.S. Army Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
