Our research indicates the Finnish Army had a procurement objective of 87 155mm 155 GH 52 APU pieces. Production for this requirement was completed in 2008. Abu Zaabal Engineering Industries of Egypt is reportedly in the final year of 155 GH 52 APU licensed serial production for the Egyptian Army. The Egyptian requirement may total 236 pieces. To date, Egypt is the only known export customer for the 155 GH 52 APU howitzer. However, the Forecast International Weapons Group believes that the Egyptian program, combined with the leading-edge quality and mid-range unit price of the 155 GH 52 APU, might still encourage additional export sales during the forecast period.
