INTERNEXA selects Alcatel-Lucent's 100G fiber optic technology to dramatically enhance content distribution in Peru

INTERNEXA, a connectivity infrastructure and telecommunication solution provider in South America, will deploy 100 gigabit per second (100G) optical coherent technology from Alcatel-Lucent to boost the speed and capacity of its data network to support the distribution of digital content from around the world into the region. The new network also will enable INTERNEXA to meet subscribers' fast-growing demands for mobile video, high-speed Internet access and other data services in Peru.
