Hawe Telekom, Fiord, Ping-Win launch new Warsaw-Stockholm DWDM connection

Polish operator Hawe Telekom, in cooperation with the Lithuanian company Fiord Networks and the Latvian company Ping-Win, launched a new DWDM connection between Warsaw and Stockholm. The connections are deployed in a coherent DWDM network with no electrical regeneration. The new fast route through Vilnius and Riga provides an alternative for existing networks and enables the launch of transmission channels with a bandwidth of nx10G and nx100G. The Warsaw-Stockholm DWDM connection is another joint investment of Hawe Telekom, Fiord and Ping-Win implemented within the last few months. The Warsaw-Stockholm RTD is lower than 20 ms, as Hawe Telekom has been steadily developing its own and partner connection networks.
