Fujitsu and LightRiver Upgrade Mission-Critical Network for FastTrack Communications

Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. announced that business communications service provider FastTrack Communications selected the modular 1FINITY™ optical networking platform to upgrade their fiber optic network. With the help of Fujitsu and channel partner LightRiver, FastTrack is deploying a disaggregated architecture based on the 1FINITY platform to boost network capacity, agility and scalability. As demand for high-speed internet continues to escalate, FastTrack is updating their locally owned and managed fiber network to deliver next-generation business services throughout Colorado and New Mexico. In order to increase bandwidth as quickly and efficiently as possible, FastTrack opted for a disaggregated network design using modular 1FINITY blades, versus a chassis-based solution.
