Advancing the Promise of E-Health Through Information Technology

At eHealth 2009, the Second ICST Conference on Electronic Healthcare for the 21st Century, held in II % Istanbul, Sept. 23-25, 2009 , speakers combined technology and healthcare with a dash of public policy. They discussed healthcare innovations such as mobile health monitoring, personally controlled health records, early warning systems for outbreak detection, tools for e-health automation and decision support, and knowledge management.
