Seaborne Crude Exports

Events during March have led to significant uncertainty over the crude trade outlook. Current projections suggest that global seaborne crude trade could grow by 2% in 2020, with support from a possible 2% increase in exports from the Middle East. After OPEC+ talks ended in early March without an agreement being reached, Saudi Ar-amco announced that it will supply customers with 12.3m bpd of crude oil in April, and has offered steep price discounts to benchmark grades.
