A long-time standards-setting group has just thrown a rather large monkey wrench into President George W. Bush's plans for an ethanol nation. Underwriters Laboratories has suspended all listing of dispensers used for gasoline blends containing 15% or more of ethanol. The decision affects the entire pump, from shear valve to nozzle tip, the Chicago-based organization says.
