The legal woes of 10-state jobber Petroleum Wholesale are growing. State officials in Texas have now accused the company of trying to obstruct inspectors investigating it for shortchanging consumers at the pump. The firm already faces fines of more than $100,000 after standards officials found 985 of the company's 1,071 dispensers had been miscalibrated, possibly intentionally (OE 08/04/08).
