Independent refiner and c-store marketer Delek has cut off negotiations aimed at acquiring refining and marketing assets that could have been worth about $1 billion. A Securities and Exchange Commission filing at the end of June mentioned an "exclusive negotiation period" between Delek and an unknown seller, but an 8-K filing August 1 noted that talks between the parties have stopped.
