摘要

Horizon Travel Plazas is seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. In preliminary filings, the Franklin, Tenn.-based chain says it owes its 20 largest unsecured creditors in excess of $1.54 million. The largest creditor is 21-state grocery supplier H.T. Hackney, due $731,000. Coca-Cola is the second largest, owed more than $230,000. The filing was not unexpected - the 24-site chain had closed a number of its locations in the past few weeks, say Oil Express sources. The chain was founded by James Allgood, a former top official with Mapco.
