BP boasts of new prowess in gift and credit card sales

BP will flex its gift and credit card muscle with new initiatives this year. The major says it has signed a deal with the Blackhawk Network, a pre-paid card distributor and payments network, to distribute and sell BP gift cards at grocery stores and other retail outlets east of the Rockies. The campaign should start shortly, officials say.
