7-Eleven unveils more expansion plans

C-store chain 7-Eleven has outlined additional growth plans, this time for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The company will add more than 50 new stores in Northern California by the end of 2011. It is looking for sites in the greater San Francisco Bay and Sacramento areas and has hired St. Louis-based broker Colliers Corporate Solutions to undertake the search. It already has 500 stores in Northern California. It also plans to add another 15 stores in the Puget Sound area. Nationally, 7-Eleven is projecting an additional 200 stores in its top growth markets across the U.S. by the end of 2009, 250 more in 2010 and more than 300 to be added in 2011.
