摘要

Some three days before Christmas, Utah-based truckstop/refiner Flying J shocked suppliers and trading partners by filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Now, scores of suppliers, ranging from well-heeled multinational refiners to regional and local jobbers, must get in line and hope to collect payment for fuel bought on credit by the once prosperous firm. In the meantime, Flying J will be on a short leash for crude oil supplied to its two small refineries as well as transport fuel loads for some 250 high volume truckstops in 41 states.
