ExxonMobil will extend its reduction in marketer credit card fees for another month. The major raised fees by .10% in December (OE 12/08/ 08) and had said it might revert to its old fee schedule - rates it was charging before April 21 last year - in January 2009. It now says those rates may be reinstated by Feb. 1, unless it provides further notice. Current rates are as follows: 1.85% for Visa (1.75% for Visa with Speedpass), 1.90% for MasterCard and Discover (1.80% with Speedpass) and 2.80% for American Express and JCB (2.15% with Speedpass). There is an additional, flat 10cts transaction fee.
